Teacher Training Programs

Professional development for language teachers is an important component of any high quality language program.  Teacher training not only needs to take place before a teacher has his/her own teaching assignment, but also once the teaching process begins.  Because national statistics indicate that 50% of the teaching force in public schools leaves within five years, professional development needs to be ongoing through a teacher’s career.
